Community Walk-a-thon

RMC Martial Arts was honored to participate in the 36th Annual Walk-a-thon hosted by the Korean Canadian Seniors Association at Christie Pits Park. The event brought together community members for a day filled with health, tradition, and unity.

We volunteered at the First Aid Station, helping ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. A highlight of the day was the vibrant Hanbok Parade and traditional cultural performances, including samulnori drumming. Adding to the spirit of the day, Sora joined the community in a sing-along, accompanying everyone on the piano, filling the park with warmth and energy.

The Walk-a-thon continues to be a symbol of intergenerational bonding, promoting wellness for seniors while fostering new connections across cultures and ages.

Looking ahead, RMC Martial Arts is excited to join again next year — this time with a Taekwondo demonstration, bringing the spirit of martial arts to this meaningful event.

Together, we continue to walk forward in health, culture, and purpose.
